As IT Project Manager you will utilize your technical acumen and business experience to manage a number of cross-discipline IT projects involving several internal departments and teams. You will also be responsible for testing and product delivery.
The IT Project Manager serves as a project leader, contributing information and recommendations to achieve operational objectives. Responsible for strategic planning, action plans, schedules, resource capabilities/allocation, and communication throughout the project lifecycle. Executes project progression analysis confirming course correction, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and work stream owners to plot corrective solutions as needed. Actively pursues best in class project management methodologies.
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the appropriate leadership team including any issues that may impact delivery/completion date
Ability to define and achieve operational objectives.
Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and defining project requirements and scope.
Analyze data to create and prepare accurate reports and budgets with supporting documentation.
Create and execute project plans based on the established timeline, and ensure deliverables meet all project requirements and expectations.
Provides status and feedback to internal/external stakeholders on key deliverables while ensuring project delivery adheres to budget and timeline.
Analyze, forecast, and recommend course correction against potential roadblocks impacting benchmark timetables.
Manages and maintains an effective project management tool arsenal, constantly evaluating new methods and technologies to develop faster and cost-effective solutions while mitigating project risk.
Oversees the overall administrative, communication, and consultative activities for the project including project plans, standups, status reports, discovery calls, etc.
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience
Some business or industry experience is required as this job requires a blend of keen technical skills, business acumen and customer service.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing complex technical projects.
PMI or Agile Project Management certification preferred.
Experience with software development and/or website development projects.
Experience with relational databases and reporting projects.
Experience with CRM implementations.
Experience working with offshore and/or remote teams.
Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both, independently and on a team.
